The Game Developers Conference will take place in San Francisco from March 2nd to 6th, 2015. It will absolutely be full of surprises because we are pleased to inform you that we are partner on virtual reality with Mozilla Firefox.

According to Vladimir Vukicevic, the Engineering Director at Mozilla, “Mozilla is not building a virtual reality headset. We are currently exploring the potential of virtual reality on the open Web, and are shipping VR-enabled builds of Firefox Nightly. At GDC this year, we will be showcasing the latest Web VR demos from the Web development community.” – UploadVR

As an awesome partner, Mozilla Firefox will introduce Oculus Rex, the first 100% web virtual reality application. The demo will launch directly on the Web thanks to the new standard WebVR: no plugin required! It is powered by the Minko engine, our open-source cross-platform 3D engine, and uses the latest modern Web standards such as WebGL, WebAudio and of course WebVR. Please come to the Mozilla Firefox booth (#2110) to test-drive Oculus Rex!

[AT GDC TOO!] To succeed further, our IronMan VR display will be demonstrated on the Leap Motion booth (#1024 South). Imagine how amazing it will be to see you facing a hologram in a virtual room! Go to the Leap Motion booth to see for yourself.

We are delighted to share our virtual reality experiences developed with Minko at GDC! Will you be there to explore the future of 3D?
